The Virtual Ward

A service enabling patients to be transferred home sooner than anticipated from an NHS hospital.  All patients are nursed and cared for by our front line team of healthcare professionals. This service is to assist NHS trusts to facilitate patient flow through the hospital environment. I-NURSE are able to supply healthcare capacity in the virtual ward and thus assist directly with the day to day patient flow through the secondary care hospital setting. Our team of nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, therapy assistants and phlebotomists effectively manage and treat patients away from the hospital setting and in the comfort and familiarity of their own home.  This model of home care is proven to aide healing and reduce patient stress, along with valuable cost savings to the NHS.
